3 Reasons to Outsource Quality Control to the Professionals

Just about everyone understands the concept of quality control. Businesses need to make sure that their products are of good quality before they are placed into the hands of customers. Some companies look to take care of the task in house, using an employee to keep an eye on the items as well as the process. But there are several benefits to turn the task over to a quality control company in the Philippines.

You’ve Got Standards to Meet

Businesses have certain standards and requirements that they must meet at all times in order to be eligible to create and sell products. When problems arise, there could be fines and other consequences that can force the process to a halt until things have been remedied. Hiring someone inside the company to handle quality control often creates a lax atmosphere, with the same person going through the motions and not really paying attention to the details. A quality control company in the Philippines brings someone in from the outside–someone that is only worried about the quality of the process and the items.

Your Reputation is on the Line

In today’s world, news spreads quickly when things don’t go well for a company. Problems are plastered all over the news, and a company’s reputation can be ruined quickly when they offer products that aren’t up to par. It’s important that every single product be at its very best before it is offered to the consumer. This makes the cost of bringing in an outside company well worth the investment. If the goal is to find mistakes right away and fix them immediately, preserving a company’s reputation and client base, a quality control company in the Philippines is the way to go.

You Could End Up Saving Money

For some, a company’s bottom line is just about as important as its reputation. This means that the ideal of bringing in outside quality control can be concerning. There is a cost associated with the service, and many businesses wonder if what they get is going to be worth the cost. But in reality, bringing in a quality control team is another investment in the company and how much money it brings in. Professionals can come in and help reduce waste during production. They can cut back on the problems that could be wasting time. By ensuring quality products, they are able to help a company maintain or even improve their money making potential.

Quality control is an important step and isn’t something that should be overlooked or taken lightly. It has the ability to ensure that a company meets the current regulations, maintains a stellar reputation and add dollars to the bottom line. Instead of depending on this service internally, it makes sense to hand the task over to professionals who have experience working in these areas. They have a clear understanding of how the process should work and have a keen eye for problems that could be costly in the long run.

From standardizing the workflow of the suppliers to evaluating the tentative risks of your business purchases, these three audit services can help your business go an extra mile.

This assessment is crucial to your business as it bridges the gap between the source business and the suppliers and assures quality products. The assessment is based on the documentation like certificates and licenses of the suppliers.

  1. Full Monitoring Audit (FMA)

3 Reasons Quality Control Matters

Any importer with experience can tell you the danger you’re risking when you take a factory manager’s word for quality assurance. Naturally, you want to be confident about the finished products you’ll receive, but how can you be certain? This question is exactly why third-party quality control companies in Myanmar are the way to go. You’ll get some added quality control oversight before shipping and a few other benefits you may never have considered.

The report is unbiased

You may received photos of your goods and updates from your supplier’s quality control team, but those things are not guarantees. When you use a third-party inspector, the person looking for problems with your goods doesn’t work for the supplier and therefore can offer an independent and uninfluenced report. This is particularly helpful when you have a supplier that you want or need to continue using but there are frequent issues with the goods they provide.

You might just save money

Of course, third-party inspections cost money, but that expense is negligible when compared to what you can lose without one. If, for example, an order ships to you and around 30 percent of the goods are defective or below your requirements, you’re now short on goods you needed. If you sent some items to customers before realizing the problem, the losses will pile up in the form of replacement costs and lost customers. An inspector from quality control companies in Myanmar could have caught that defect in the factory before those goods ended up at your door. You can train someone on your staff to do inspections for you, but the time and travel cost typically exceeds what you’d pay a local company, which is also usually able to get the inspections done faster because of the reduced travel time.

Supplier communication will improve

Many importers point to communication problems with their suppliers as a serious issue. Messages get lost in translation or it’s hard to get accurate and timely replies to your questions. Whatever the case, third-party inspections can actually improve communication between you and your suppliers. Your inspector will be local and also able to speak English, so he or she can help you ask the questions you need answered in a timely manner.

In addition to better communication, there’s also more transparency when you use third-party inspectors. They’ll be working with the people who are actually responsible for the making of your goods and not a salesperson in the factory office who may not have all the details you need. An inspector may also be able to suggest solutions to production issues, although it’s important to note that he or she is not the person who would handle major problems in the product’s design or production.

It’s hard to tell if you’re getting what you paid for when you don’t see your goods before shipping. However, to boost your quality assurance and increase the odds of a great shipment in your favour, a third-party inspection does the trick.

Why Pre-Shipment Inspection is Crucial for Sellers on Amazon Who Purchase from China

When you sell on Amazon, it is crucial to offer detailed information about the products you’re offering. This helps the customer decide what product to choose and can also help you get better search rankings on the site. It starts before the product ever gets to the customer. In fact, it begins at the supplier you are using in China. There are many reasons that a pre-shipment inspection in China is something you should prioritize.

Stop Problems Before They Happen

The last thing that you want is to ship out products that don’t perform in the way they are supposed to. That’s why detecting problems before that point is critical. It may cause your shipping time to increase, but it also means your customers will get the highest-quality goods possible. Nobody wants to open a package and realize the item doesn’t work properly. This can have a significant impact on you as a seller when you consider Amazon’s rating system.

High-Quality Products Ensured

When the factory you are using as a supplier knows that a pre-shipment inspection is incoming, they often make a point of providing high-quality from the outset. Having to re-do products will take time and money away from the supplier. If they are aware that you are serious about having products that meet specific standards, those standards can be considered from the beginning.

Accurate Product Listings

After your pre-shipment inspection in China is done, you’ll receive a report that breaks down the quality of your product. This is the point where you have the most accurate information to list the product on Amazon or other marketplaces. You can also choose to have a sample sent to you by the quality control team so you can look things over before listing. With samples, you will also have the ability to take photos and use them to show off the product to potential customers.

Verifying Labelling and Packaging

Another thing that Amazon takes seriously is labelling and packaging expectations. Being lax about these guidelines can put your entire account at risk. That’s why it’s so important that you read the requirements in full and then incorporate them into your specifications. Both the manufacturing company and your inspector should have a copy of this information. It can be easy to overlook these requirements, but don’t let yourself do so. Make sure everyone involved in the process knows what is required.

Third-Party Inspection in China

Having a successful business on Amazon or elsewhere requires positive reviews and pleased customers. That is why having an accurate listing is so important.
