The Three Stages of Production Inspection Explained in Detail

In this highly competitive business world, each aspect of the product that is brought to the market is considered. As such, a slight flaw in the entire process of planning and manufacturing the product can lead to complete failure of the output. With this in view, production inspection is given maximum importance today and quality control companies in Panyu are focusing on carrying out all-encompassing inspections to ensure best quality products. Now, if you are outsourcing the production process, it is all the more essential that you hire professionals. The quality control experts will typically go through three stages of inspection, explained in details as follows:

Pre-Production or Initial Inspection

Pre-production inspection or what is also known as the initial production quality check phase is carried out even before 20% of the output has been completed. During this phase, aspects like the real capacity for production, the preparation levels and the expected timeline is checked. The quality of the raw materials as well as the components and packaging materials are scrutinized thoroughly. Any problem in the materials needs detection right at the initial phase because once 50% of the products are manufactured; change of raw materials will imply loss. Most importantly, the pre-production inspection ensures that the supplier has understood your manufacturing needs and that there is no dispute related to order details.

During Production

Inspections during production are typically undertaken when the production has reached 20-60% of final shipment. The manufacturing process, workflow and the material usage are looked into thoroughly. Potential bottlenecks are identified and immediately dealt with to ensure that there is no delay in the final delivery of the output.

Pre-Shipment Inspection

The pre-shipment inspection is also the final one, executed when 80-100% of the order has been completed already. At this stage, tests are conducted to see whether the security standards are abided by. Every single aspect is cross checked.

It is always advisable to entrust the crucial responsibility of production inspection to reputed quality control companies only. This is because the expertise of the quality assurance professionals largely determines the success of the product.
